The soundtrack is pure ‘80s…. new wave almost all the way. A snapshot of the era and M-TV at its height of popularity before M-TV became the non-music service that it is today laced wit so much reality shows. Here is artists like The Comsat Angels, Tears for Fears, The System, Bryan Adams, The Call and more back in the days of originality.

Before you delve into to this latest edition I give you a bopping track from Real Genius with I’m Falling by The Comsat Angels-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zXsGiVOx6U&list=PLEyk5XoLsqZb6uEBIVqCINC1v1hjBlhII&index=1

If ever there was a soundtrack that lent itself to the yacht Rock Radio genre it’s 1985’s Real genius starring a young Val Kilmer along with the number one pain the ass character played brilliantly by William Atherton (Die Hard & Ghostbusters) as a conniving College Prof who is basically using his students for some very nefarious projects all funded by some secretive agencies within the U.S. govt. Some involving lasers and pinpointing technology that could actually vaporize an individual within a crowd of people. * Now mind you you this is all a work of fiction.
