Above- US release artwork and marketing material for Werewolf in a Girl’s Dormitory.

There are many Sci-Fi and Horror films that maya or may not have great however they may have had one thing going for them-a catchy & memorable title song whether or not the title of the film is actually heard within the lyrics. It could be that the song just was featured during the title credits flowed across the screen. Here are a few, some me be forgotten or they may be the only thing you remember about that movie going experience.

Above- Could she be the next vixtim of the moonlit killer. There many alternate titles floating around for our werewolf film. Trying to wither cash in on all those I married …something or the I was a teenage…. you get the picture or is it title.

One of my favorites is A Werewolf in a Girls Dormitory (1961) which had two different release editions one without a song and just instrumental -the other with a top ten of mine “The Ghoul in the School”. Doesn’t get any better than this. The movie itself is a very good murder -mystery combined with a werewolf storyline. The plot and the atmosphere along with the writing really sets it up and taking some pints from the German “Krimi” films of that time period that were popular in Europe and Germany especially. Red Herrings to throw you off the track of the real culprit in a recent run of murders at an all-girls school. Trailer- https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x22aju7
