Thunderball (1965)-
During the opening of our story our formidable hero and gentleman secret agent is seen battling a recently deceased enemy agents’ “widow”, but all is not as it seems and no spoilers but lets just say some “women” should open their own car door. It is amidst this incredible fast paced action scene that 007 (Sean Connery) is injured by a fireplace poker. So it’s off to Shrublands * a posh reconditioning center and spa. for a few days of rest, healing and “relaxation”.
And as usual with Bond trouble just happens to be around most corners. Aside from avoiding being permanently stretched a few inches taller-he stumbles across a man, dead and under wraps. Later back at Universal Exports and on duty he is handed a files…
