Wake up everyone it’s Sunday and it’s time to read some comics. That is what I use to do every Sunday — rush out to grab the morning paper and dig into some great adventures.

Welcome everyone to another Reviews on the Edge outing. Let me say this… for every generation there is a particular form of entertainment associated with their time. Or for each form of entertainment there was a specific era that related to and embraced it as theirs. Today we have streaming services, wi-fi & the internet that helps disperse it. There is video games, VR and DVD and Blu-ray devices along with tablets and even cell phones to view all this on. Music, books, film, TV-dancing that has been around for eons.

Well, the golden age of comics (books)- yes was the late ’30s through the mid ’50s greatest source of entertainment for a younger generation for ages that were able to read through the young adults of those decades.
