One Piece started as a manga in 1997 in the weekly Shonen Jump mag while still on going as a manga the anime adaption premiered in 1999…. which currently streams on Crunchyroll and Netflix… new episodes are still airing and has delivered over 1000 — in fact 1083 so far. With no signs of slowing down.

Straw Hats (pirates)-

Luffy -once a young lad and grandson to the Admiral of the marines. He also is blessed with the powers of the gum gum fruit. He is made of living rubber. The only problem is he can’t swim. That’s some irony.

Zoro destined to become the world’s greatest swordsman.

Sanji- a chef like no other and a master of foot style martial arts.

Nami-The navigator and thief.

Usopp-great storyteller and a master with a slingshot. And “captain” of the Going Merry.
