Follow the Typewriter on a trip through history, pop culture and even Hollywood……

Today we type most likely on a keyboard associated with a PC, tablet or Laptop when producing an article, review, story, novel.…etc. But we owe all this to a manual typing device called-the typewriter. Now I personally know several people who still prefer to write this way to produce their books, novels and more.

Does it take any longer to produce a piece of paper that will go on to become part of an article or more? Is it cumbersome to work with? Can it be taken anywhere and work in any environment?

Well for one we do have the advantage to correct a mistake a little quicker, we don’t have to waste paper…we just backspace or delete what we don’t like or to fix that mistake. *Whiteout-remember that stuff. We even have spell check be it courtesy of whatever platform we happen to be writing for or…
