Come in dear guests….

Exciting News!!! Coming Soon two big collectible Bluray releases-

The Inner Sanctum Mysteries- Franchise Collection -

Featuring an array of guest stars and character actors- J Carrol Naish (200 film credits), Brenda Joyce, Evelyn Ankers (The Wolf Man), and

one of the first scream queens and popular pinup “girl” for the WWII-

Below- Anne Gwynne ***(Grandmother of Chris Pine)…

Anne was a versatile actress and could be scarred or be scary and she was fashionable and extremely photogenic -the camera loved Anne. But she was genuine and talented.

Anne could dance, “put on the top hat” an all around entertainer. Films to see-House of Frankenstein, -two serials-Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe * The Green Hornet, Ride’m Cowboy(Abbot n Costello) and as Patricia Kelly on the TV series Public Defender(1947–1951). Too many to list….

Below- an original radio broadcast.

Mill Creek Entertainment has remastered from the 1940’s (a film series originally released by Universal ) all 6 The Inner Sanctum Mysteries-starring Lon Chaney Jr together in one collection… loaded to the hilt and just in time for Halloween featuring audio commentaries, an interview with Martin Kosleck and digital content ..plus a retrospect on the 40’s hit radio series and a “making of “by Daniel Griffith (the ”go to” “guy” for docs and best in the biz) of Ballyhoo Productions. These come stamped …for a spooky good time. And are guaranteed to send a chill or two down your spine.. ooh there goes one now ..down mine…

Left- a 22 x 28 poster -a man receives the eyes of a dying man.

What would happen if you received the eyes of another man.. would you be able to see last things he witnessed maybe his own murder!!!???

**Solve the Acquanetta mystery-who was this exotic actress from the past… ? **

Lon Chaney Jr (son of Lon Chaney-Phantom of the Opera 1925 )hit his stride with these wonderfully tight scripted short features that shined with great characters and character actors. Aside from The Wolf Man I really think his range and talent were displayed up on the screen with these wonderful mysteries. And there are many twists and turns so you’ll be glued til the end trying to figure out did he do it or not? .. because in each story Lon plays the potential hero/victim/suspect….real nail biters(and I like my nails…so it’s a good thing they are short but more then entertaining…

They’re good enough to wake the dead. But maybe we should keep that under wraps…But only answer if it’s someone you know.
