Starring Tommy Kirk and Annette-Annette Funicello. in two wacky-way out films. Kirk as a very brilliant but egg-headed science student whose inventions although on the cutting edge for tech of the day usually resulted in major mishaps. Oh, and let’s throw in absent-minded, kinda like a professor I know…hmmm.

Both films The Monkey’s Uncle and The Misadventures of Merlin Jones provide enough laughs and fun adventure for the whole family. Then add in all those madcap shenanigans plus with you have count on at least a couple of songs from Annette. Mind you though these are not musicals -just straight out spoofs on all those sci-fi flicks but instead a mad scientitst we get a dedicated but sometimes overzealous Tommy Kirk. And Tommy was so good at playing a quirky but loveable “brain in a box” character. The girls especially Anette can’t help but fall…
