You know one would think once you’ve purchased a house and realizing the enormous source of pride and accomplishment knowing that incredible moment when you’ve mailed in the last mortgage payment …. What could be better. A roof over your head … a place to call home for you and your family … even through those golden years of retirement. Right isn’t that what people are striving for. And this issue I am writing discussing knows no age boundaries-we are all in the same down here in this wonderful tropical place we call our home…Florida.

Over the last couple of years insurance companies have either been pulling out of our state or have begun to raise rates or even just sending you a letter out of the blue that states we are dropping you or your coverage. And trust no one wants to get one of those letters -it leaves you scrambling for some company that be willing to provide you with homeowners insurance.
