The story opens with at the end of trial with the verdict sentencing Dave to admitted to an asylum for the insane. With Dave Emerson shouting over and over I’m not guilty-I’m not guilty!- then gunshots and an This is Edgar Wallace voice over before the titles and we are immediately plunged into an escape from the asylum, a man hunt dogs and murder.
From the breakneck opening we follow Dave Emerson and his quest for the truth-is he insane or did someone set him up and then try to “bury” him in Dr. Mangrove’s asylum for the criminally insane. Disguising himself as his twin brother he must navigate…
