The year 1983 was not like any year 007 was about to face his greatest challenge-himself. Well at least up on the silver screen. Literally Roger Moore in Octopussy was going up against the original …. She said why not never because that is what you said a decade ago.

2023 marks the 40th anniversary of both these films. Octopussy was a stellar performer at the box-office. It helped that it was a summer release, and it was a major heatwave that year. If you were not in the pool that best place was sitting in an airconditioned theater. Especially in the north since central air was still not a thing. Down south yes.
